The food and the staff in the restaurant were very good. View is magic.

Front reception staff are not the usual Filipino friendly. Room was basic. Not cleaned very well and full of bugs and cockroaches.

What was the highlight of Club Balai Isabel Taal Lakeview

The pool was huge, and it was clean considering that there were a lot of people. The staff was nice as well, and we only needed a few minutes to check in the room.

More signs, specially lighted ones at night. We had a hard time going back to our room after dinner as it was really very dark and the property was so huge. Also, when we arrive at the room, there were no door placemats (we had to request it), and the room became dirty because it was raining outside.

The place was good for holidays generally

1. Boardwalk was filled with trash 2. Room had broken cabinets (recto 205) 3. Took one day and 3 requests to get toiletries 4. Breakast buffet was a chaos plus the flies 5. Understaff 6. Check out took so long 7. Stsndard room costs a lot already for 2 persons but can accommodate 4 pax comfortably but needs extra 1500 per head

I liked the adventure of the waterpark but not the things i saw in the water and the closeness to taal

When we played at the waterpark, it has all sorts of plastic wastes; from diapers to shampoo sachet to junk food plastics. Also, the staffs in kumintang just barged in on us while we were having our late lunch, telling us to leave the restaurant. Without apologizing, they didnt inform us that the area will be used for something which They are also the ones who gave us the spot - thats where i knew the staffs are not properly trained there!

Venue was great, and check-in was smooth.

Not the best of service. Restaurant staff were slow to serve, orders kept being forgotten and need to follow up constantly. Table wasn't also being cleared up fast and we had lots of empty drink glasses on our table.

What was the highlight of Club Balai Isabel Taal Lakeview

The room is very comfortable. Bed is really nice. The bathroom has hot and cold shower, complete with toiletries. I like that the room has its own mini-kitchen (with electric kettle, ref, working faucet, and stove, although there are no cooking utensils). I also like that the TV has cable hence, more choices for channels! The food is great! We had dinner at the restaurant, we ordered two flavors of pizza (the four-cheese and the all-meat, though they have their own names for these). It was very cheap yet so good!

The weather wasn't really cooperative the time we went. If it were sunny, we could have enjoyed swimming by the pool, or we could have tried their aqua park (with the inflatable island and all the water activities), or simply enjoy walking around the place as it was really a good place to have a quiet walk. Also, due to the weather, there were instances of power shortage. Good thing they have a good set of generators you wouldn't really notice that there is no power in the area.

Food servers are great! Specially Jhon and liezel! And add your dedicated pool cleaner/life guard at kumintang pool

There’s no phone at the room to call Front desk we should use our own phone , at around 11am no one is answering our calls.no wifi at the room, good thing our room is near the outdoor hot spot. Stove inside the room is not functioning.

Dinner buffet was exceptional like no other! The view of Taal is also awesome!

1. Wifi connection is bad 2. Aircon is not working properly 3. Extra charge for asking a water 4. No complimentary tea or coffee

The pool , water activities & ambience

Rooms are clean but no slippers & no wifi & telephone to call at the reception area. I booked the resort hotel 4 rooms through booking.com & give my credit card details but payment will be made at club balai. When we checked out and i was settling the payment through may credit card the receptionist staff said that it was declined ( 5x) then i decided to called my bank to confirm and the customer service confirm that the money was already deducted to my credit card & its just floating coz club balai haven't accept the payment but the staff & manager mylene said that they haven't seen any floating payment so i passed the phone to manager mylene so she can speak to the customer service & explained to her that the money for the payment has already deducted to my card. She was saying that they need a proof fr my bank that it was already paid but my bank can't give or send me anything to the e-mail bec. Club balai haven't accept the payment yet. We waited for almost 3 hrs just for them to settled at the end club balai spoke to there bank and cancelled all the transaction to my card and when i swipe it again my card it was approved. Club balai should know what to do when these things happened specially the managers. I really had a bad experience with them. If incase my card was not declined i will be charged 2x. Very poor service & must upgrade there system.
